The Motorino CTr is the latest take on stealth e-bicycle design, combining old-school Kustom styling and cruiser comfort with state-of-the-art technology. With the battery neatly concealed in the retro-styled “gas tank” top tube, the only subtle clues that this isn’t just a great-looking bicycle are the oversized rear wheel hub and a small control panel on the handlebars.

The CTr backs up all that style with substance. Using high energy-density Lithium-Ion batteries, the powerful yet light and compact 36V 10 amp-hour battery pack delivers up to 20km range without pedaling and can go much farther with a bit of rider input.

The Motorino CTr features an overbuilt, high-torque, class-maximum 500W rear hub motor.

The motor can power a 77Kg (170lb) rider up a 15% grade hill all by itself but there’s also a trigger-shifted 7-speed Shimano Mega-Range drivetrain to efficiently get the rider’s own power to the ground. All of this techie goodness is built on and into a light, all-aluminum frame.

The Motorino CTr features two power control modes: “power-assist” provides three user-selectable levels of assistance that are automatically engaged when the rider pedals, or there is “power on demand” delivered with just a twist of the throttle-grip. Mode and battery voltage are indicated by LEDs on the bar-mounted control panel.

Like all Motorino e-bicycles, the CTr is built to meet European Union EN 15194 safety requirements.
